Vampi Makes For Spain In December’s ‘Vampirella Helliday Special’

Vampi’s dream holiday vacation is about to become hellish.
The annual Vampirella Winter special returns for 2026 as the Vampirella Helliday Special with the Daughter of Drakulon making for Spain and a little vacation. But writer Erik Burnham and artist Wagner Reis — returning to the character for the first time in 15 years — have other plans. The city of Barcelona should be a respite from chaos agents, aliens, vampires, alien vampires, interpersonal drama, and interdimensional travel. Unfortunately for Vampi, though, the job is never done. Bloodthirsty beings are afoot and Vampirella has one option to end their threat and maybe get a few days’ worth of siestas: send them straight to hell.
Supporting the special are covers from Cat Staggs, Meghan Hetrick, and cosplayer Lorraine. Blind bag options will also be available with “three limited editions of the issue randomly selected from a range of exclusive variants.”
Vampirella Helliday Special #1 debuts in comic shops on December 9th.
