‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Celebrating Its Homecoming On 4K UHD Steelbook, Blu-ray, DVD, And Digital Formats
by David Lewis
After obliterating box office records and nicely setting up another four or five movies in the Marvel Cinematic universe, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is swinging to home formats later this year, including 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital platforms for rental or purchase.
Tom Holland returns as Spidey, joined by MCU mainstays Zendaya, Mark Ruffalo, Jacob Batalon, and John Bernthal, plus franchise newcomer Sadie Sink. You likely saw it in the theater three or four times, so we probably don’t need to go into plot details here.
The collector’s edition steelbook package features a magnetic lenticular cover, a relic card featuring a piece of wardrobe from the film itself, a new comic book, art cards, and reproductions of Peter (Holland) and MJ’s (Zendaya) drawings and letters from the film.
Extra features include outtakes, behind the scenes footage, “hidden spider eggs,” and over a dozen featurettes exploring the cast and crew, special effects, music, stunts, and everything else that goes into making a blockbuster movie that actually works.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be available on digital platforms October 6th and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 15th.
