Innings Festival Tempe Announces 2027 Musical Line-Up

by Brendan M. Allen

It’s that time of year again. The World Series is wrapping up. As of this writing, Milwaukee is one game away from sweeping Tampa Bay for the Commissioner’s Trophy. While the Brewers have one of the all-time coolest logos in all of baseball, I have no dog in this fight, so a complete blowout just isn’t really fun to watch. If you aren’t part of the Brew Crew, the best you can do is look forward to next season.

As a displaced die-hard Giants fan, it’s really hard for me to get up to the Bay Area for live games, so I head out to Scottsdale every spring to watch Los Gigantes square up with the D-Backs, Guardians, Brewers, Rockies, Reds, Angels, Rangers, Mariners, Padres, Royals, White Sox, Cubs, Athletics, and the team Ohtani plays for. I get a solid week of baseball for less than a weekend trip to San Francisco.

Eight years ago, someone had the absolutely brilliant idea of coordinating a music festival in Tempe to kick off the first week of Cactus League. The festival has grown into an amazing three-day annual event, drawing fans from all over the world to the greater Scottsdale area a few days  ahead of the season to geek out to baseball and music.

C3 Presents has released the lineup for the 2027 festival, which takes place at Tempe Beach Park February 26th-28th.

Headliners include Pitbull, 4 Non Blondes, The Strokes, Death Cab For Cutie, Spoon, and Alanis freaking Morissette.

Among the MLB legend guests are Jake Peavy, David Justice, Shawon Dunston, Nelson Cruz, and one of only three players to play for all four original New York MLB baseball teams. Darryl Strawberry played for the New York Metropolitans from 1983-1990, the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1991-1993, The San Francisco Giants in 1994, and the New York Yankees from 1995-1999. (The other two are Ricky Ledée and José Vizcaíno.)

Tickets go on presale on October 29th at 10am PT. Visit the Innings Festival web page to sign up for presale. Ticket prices increase when public on sale begins one hour later at 11am PT.
