Bixby Grant has followed the trail of his long-lost brother Max’s ancient dagger, directly into the secret lair of a demonic cult! Beneath the streets of Harbor City, Bix and Diego, the rockabilly vampire, confront the hooded killers bent on literally raising hell on Earth, only to be captured by monstrous goons and tossed in the hoosegow. To escape, Bix must reckon with his greatest foe – unresolved emotions about his evil brother! Will Bix wrangle his personal demons and overcome a horde of angry goblins in time to stop a literal demon?
The action heats up in the heart of Zombietown, the five square blocks of Harbor City inhabited by thousands of the undead. Detective Maritza Ramirez went there seeking clues in the disappearance of her father, beloved Harbor City Police Captain Jorge Ramirez. Don Scarpino, the undead leader of Il Cosa Muerte, the zombie mafia, has confronted her with her worst fears made real. Maritza must pull herself together, face those fears head-on, and figure out a plan to get out of Z-Town alive, now that her zombie-proof suit has been damaged!

The issue features covers by Veronica Fish and Francesco Francavilla, plus a 3D lenticular variant cover by veteran character designer and storyboard artist Coran Kizer Stone, available as an Early Bird special for the first 48 hours of the campaign and limited to just 25 copies!
“Readers have been asking when the next issue is coming, so I know people are as hyped as I am for Fangs & Brimstone #5!” said Coyle. “We’re entering the final act of the story, so things are going to get much worse before they get better. For Bix, as with many of us in the real world, dealing with emotional trauma and mental health is unsettling and difficult, but so important. If Bix can tackle that, he can get back to what he does best: going toe-to-toe with the true villain of the story, revealed here for the first time. And let’s talk about Coran Kizer Stone’s lenticular cover! How sweet is that?! This is the first 3D cover we’ve done, and it came out amazing. I couldn’t be happier with it.”
The Kickstarter campaign for Bixby Grant, Private Eye: Fangs & Brimstone #5 runs through November 12th, with new covers, exclusive rewards, and the next chapters of both Fangs & Brimstone and Zombietown. Interested parties can back the campaign at this link.
