Duncan Rouleau Takes The Creative Reins For ‘Ben 10’ #9
by Erik Amaya
Duncan Rouleau is going solo for Ben 10 #9.
The artist and Ben 10 co-creator has been contributing covers to the Dynamite comic book series its entire run, but the ninth issue sees him writing and drawing a tale highlighting Vilgax, the biggest of the Ben 10 big bads.
“Conquest is for kings. Vilgax doesn’t need subjects,” Rouleau said in a statement. “He wants something that can only be found in blood and battle. If he doesn’t find it there — worlds break.”
The issue will also feature a two-page backup story by Roulean’s Man of Action compatriot (and fellow Ben 1o co-creator) Joe Casey and artist Cormac Hughes. Meanwhile, Rouleau, regular series artist Robert Carey, and cover artists Dustin Nguyen, Sebastian Piriz, and Eric Canete provide additional covers for those interested in other interpretations of Vilgax or the issue’s events.
