‘The Boy Has A Destiny’ – Preview Black #5, Out This Week From Black Mask Studios

 

The critically acclaimed series Black is back this week for its 5th issue, published by Black Mask Studios. Created by Kwanza Osajyefo & Tim Smith 3, written by Kwanza Osajyefo, illustrated by Jamal Igle, with covers by Khary Randolph, the series turns on the premise that only Black people have superpowers and follows the life of a young man who discovers this the hard way, after being gunned down by police.
Here’s what’s coming up in this issue:

In the aftermath of his defection from The Project, Kareem comes face-to-face with the harsh consequences of his decision. Juncture and his team enlist Detective Waters’ help in a drastic effort to find the boy before he’s too far gone into the system – but a great threat may have nefarious designs for Kareem’s unique abilities.
