Preview Valiant’s ‘Massacre – Part 1’ In Harbinger Renegade #5 Arriving This Week

 
This week on July 12th, the much-foreshadowed death of a major character is getting underway in Harbinger Renegade #5 from Valiant. This is the issue that’s being published with a warning label overlay on each cover reminding fans that this is going to be a disturbing issue.

Written by Rafer Roberts and drawn by Darick Robertson, this issue is also the beginning of “The Road to Harbinger Wars 2”, Valiant’s massive crossover event landing in 2018.

In this issue, Toyo Harada’s former protege–Alexander Solomon, a psiot who can “predict and analyze potential futures” has been waiting for the moment when the Harbinger Renegades are reunited as a result of his secret efforts and his endgame goals can begin. Major Charlie Palmer has also been watching, though, and has just re-assigned a new division of the psiot hunters codenamed H.A.R.D. Corps to active duty. They are ready to “bring a torrent of blood and calamity” onto the streets of a major American city.

Valiant teases that none of the following are “safe”: the Harbinger Renegades, Livewire, Alexander Solomon,  Generation Zero, Toyo Harada, Secret Weapons, Imperium.
