Power Rangers: Shattered Grid Gets Free Comic Book Day Tie-In

Last week we received our first glimpse at some of the titles that will be available on Free Comic Book Day 2018. Among those books is the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2018 FCBD Special from BOOM! Studios and Saban Brands. This is a tie-in to Shattered Grid, the huge event that promises to shake the Power Rangers to their core. It features a story of how Zordon turns to the Morphin Masters for help as the Power Rangers battle Lord Drakkon (aka an evil version of Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger, from an alternate reality).
The comic will be written by Kyle Higgins and Ryan Parrott (the writers of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Go Go Power Rangers, respectively) and illustrated by Diego Galindo. It will feature a cover by Jamal Campbell.
Power Rangers: Shattered Grid is the first comic book event story in the 25 year history of the franchise. It begins on March 21st, 2018 with a special polybagged edition of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #25 by Kyle Higgins and Daniele Di Nicuolo. Go Go Power Rangers #9 joins the event with Ryan Parrott and Dan Mora. The FCBD Special adds an additional angle to the storyline.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2018 Free Comic Book Day Special will be available at participating local comic book shops on May 5th, 2018. While the books are free for you, they do costs the retailers to order, so while you’re picking up your free comics, please also consider buying some other books to help out the shop.
