It’s time for some more Disney movie magic as the creative team that brought us Beauty and the Beast in 2017, announces The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. This release kind of caught me by surprise, but wow does it look wonderful! The film stars, Morgan Freeman, Kiera Knightly, Hellen Mirren, and Mackenzie Foy to name a few.
The description on IMDB is quite simple…
A young girl is transported into a magical world of gingerbread soldiers and an army of mice.
…but watch the trailer and you’ll discover that this simple tale looks like it will be a lot more than what we might know about the traditional Nutcracker story.
