The Consultant Gets A Collection In April From Action Lab: Danger Zone

Marcus Greenberg has a unique spin on a classic saying we all know and love. “With Great Power Comes Great Profitability.” Marcus is the focus of The Consultant from Action Lab: Danger Zone. The first volume, collecting the first four issues is set for release in April 2018.
The character’s job is covering up the super-sins of the world’s super “heroes.” This ranges from a suspect unintentionally beaten to death to an underage teenage sidekick getting murdered and everything in between. Basically, if you have a problem that can’t be bought or if no one will help you bury the body, Marcus is your guy. Just make sure you can afford him.


The Consultant was inspired by writer / creator Jason Sterr’s military service. It features artwork by Daniel Mainé and a cover by Simon Fraser. In some ways, The Consultant is like the anti-super hero comic, poking fun at the hypocrisy of the capes and cowls. It reminds me a bit of The Boys in that regard, although this isn’t quite as over-the-top as that series was.
Look for The Consultant: Volume 1 at your local comic shop on April 4th, 2018. It will be available at book shops and Amazon on April 17th, 2018.
