Preacher Returns In June For A Third Season

Those of you awaiting Jesse’s (Dominic Cooper) showdown with Gran’ma (Betty Buckley) can rest easy: Preacher returns in June.
The third season of the television show based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillion’s raucous and religious road trip sees Jesse, Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) continue their search for God. Their latest stop takes them to Angelville, Jesse’s hometown and the center of his Gran’ma’s spiritualist operation. Ian Coletti, Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Malcolm Barrett return as series regulars.
Newcomer Betty Buckley is joined by Jeremy Childs and Colin Cunningham; who will play her enforcers Jody and TC. Jody is described as the only man Jesse has never beat in a fight while TC is the sort who will “gladly tell you about his perversions whether you ask him or not.” Liz McGreever, Jonny Coyne and Adam Croasdell will also appear in what might be the most harrowing leg of the journey to date. Particularly if a certain someone makes a very special guest appearance.
Preacher returns to AMC on June 24th.
