First Look: Jughead Plays A Dangerous Game In Riverdale #12

Archie Comics have released a first look at the interior artwork on Riverdale #12, from the series that parallels many elements of the TV show on The CW while bringing in new information and storylines. As such, it forms a really interesting and resonant narrative if you’re a fan of the show, and even if you’re not—you’ll get a slightly grittier, more realistic Riverdale in this series written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Aaron Allen, with art by Thomas Pitilli, colors by Andre Szymanowicz, and letters by John Workman.

In issue #12, we’ll visit the Southside, where the Serpents hang out. When Jughead Jones “challenges something near and dear to the Serpents”, he incurs their wrath. How will this showdown pan out?
