Lucifer Returns For Two More Episodes Next Week

Fans of Lucifer may still campaigning to bring the Warner Bros. Television production back for another season, but Fox has a surprise for them: two additional episodes to air on May 28th.
As was something of a tradition for the series, the network banked two episodes to air in the Fall as part of the next four. But when the show was cancelled, the episodes were suddenly homeless; leaving Fox with the option to air them as a treat for the dedicated viewers. According to TVLine, neither episode advances the main story, but instead sees Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and the gang investigating some standalone cases.
In “Boo Normal,” they look into the murder of a child psychiatrist while Ella (Aimee Garcia) ruminates on a huge childhood secret. Charlyne Yi guest stars as “a very special friend of Ella’s who just might be a ghost.” In the second episode, “Once Upon a Time,” Lucifer’s mom creates an alternate dimension in which Lucifer is granted the freedom of choice. The nominal creator of this Lucifer (at least in his comic book form) Neil Gaiman guests as the voice of God.
Which, honestly, sounds like the best way to cap off the show should Warner TV find no home for the program.
