Black Hammer Gets A Library Edition Hardcover This October For First 13 Issues

If you’ve been holding off on Black Hammer for some unknown reason, you will soon have the opportunity to read the stellar comic in a new and improved format. Dark Horse Comics has announced a new deluxe hardcover Library Edition set for release in October. The series from writer Jeff Lemire and artist Dean Ormston follows a group of super heroes who have been banished from existence after a multiversal event. They find themselves stranded and trapped on a bizarre farm as they search for a way out of this strange place.

This new edition collects Black Hammer #1 – #13, the Giant-Sized Annual, sketchbook extras, and more. It will feature a cover by Dean Ormston with colors by Dave Stewart. Also included is artwork by Dean Ormston, David Rubin, Dustin Nguyen, Emi Lenox, Nate Powell, Matt Kindt, Ray Fawkes, and Michael Allred.
Writer and co-creator Jeff Lemire says:

I couldn’t be prouder of this deluxe library edition. I love the world of Black Hammer so much, and I love seeing the stories Dean and I worked so hard to create collected in such a gorgeous volume.

Black Hammer: Library Edition – Volume 1 is set for release on October 24th, 2018. It is currently available for pre-order at your local comic shop and Amazon. The hardcover clocks in at 408 pages and retails for $49.99.
