Image/Skybound Announce A Walking Dead Day To Celebrate 15 Years + New #1 Variant Cover

This October 13th Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment will be celebrating The Walking Dead’s 15th birthday. To mark the occasion, Charlie Adlard has illustrated a variant cover for a reissue of The Walking Dead #1 too, illustrating zombies attacking a comic book store, making it much easier for bigger stores to order their own special variant cover spotlighting their own shop.
I’m sure there’ll be other surprises to come, but for now a date and new #1 are a good start.
The Walking Dead #1 15TH ANNV VAR (Diamond Code JUN180298) will be available on Saturday, October 13th. The final order cutoff for Walking Dead #1 15TH ANNV VAR will be Monday, July 9th. The first issue is written by creator, Robert Kirkman and illustrated by original series artist,Terry Moore.
