First Look: Coda #4 Will Wrap Up First Arc With A ‘Status Quo Shaker’

The all-new series, Coda from Boom! Studios, which sold out at a distributor level before the release of the first issue, is about to wrap up their first arc next month. Written by Simon Spurrier (Sandman, The Spire) and Matías Bergara (Cannibal, Supergirl), this fantasy-epic promises to be a page turner. The series follows Hum, an antisocial former bard during the aftermath of an apocalypse that has wiped out nearly all the magic from the world. Now, Hum must find a way to save the soul of his wife with the help of a mutant unicorn. You can’t get more epic-fantasy than that, am I right?

The reveal at the end of Issue #3 is a status quo shaker, and you won’t want to miss what happens next for Hum…CODA #4 may be the end of our first arc, but it’s just the beginning of the epic Si and Matías are crafting.

The content of this comic seems incredibly intriguing and the art style blows my mind. I love the edgy nature of the characters, and that mutant unicorn?
