Marvel Unveils A Slew Of Battle Lines Variant Covers
by James Ferguson
At San Diego Comic Con last week, Marvel Games debuted an exclusive trailer, all-new art, and gameplay footage for Marvel Battle Lines, the collectible card battling mobile game from Nexon. This October, Marvel Comics is getting in on the fun with a series of variant covers showcasing more than two dozen in-game cards. As a fan of the old school Marvel card game, Overpower, I am somewhat curious about this.
Check out the full list and a number of the covers below.

While these covers are gorgeous, I wonder if some of them are oddly placed. Is Man-Thing part of Weapon H? Is Hellcat on the X-Men? I guess if they had no place else to put the cover, they could just slap it on whatever’s left. There are a total of 28 variant covers in all. The first ones arrive in October 2018.
