Matt Murdoch May Be Born Again On October 19th
As various websites and Twitter users are reporting, the Netflix Thailand account may have accidentally announced when the third season of Daredevil will debut: October 19th.

As of post-time, the tweet is still live. But Netflix’s US counterpart remains quiet on the issue.
The series sees Matt Murdoch (Charlie Cox) try to balance a daylight life as an attorney and his calling as a nighttime vigilante. But it seems with the third season, Matt’s recovery from surviving the collapse of a building in The Defenders sees him choosing to be the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen over the man his friends Foggy (Elden Henson) and Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) want him to be.
Which means the program’s take on the “Born Again” storyline will go in strange directions. If Matt is ready to stop being Matt, then there isn’t much of a life for Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) to destroy — a key aspect of the comic book tale by Frank Miller and David David Mazzucchelli.
As sites like MCU Exchange have noted, an October 19th release would indicate an increased frequency in the release pattern of Marvel shows on Netflix. Iron Fist‘s second season, which debut last Friday will only enjoy 6 weeks as the newest Marvel content on the service should Daredevil debut next month. In contrast, Luke Cage‘s second year stood alone as fresh content across most of the summer. But with five shows in production, it makes some sense for Netflix to move a little bit quicker. Also, the calendar gets a little more crowded when you consider the other comic book shows the platform is readying to debut, like October’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and the upcoming Umbrella Academy. Which means there will be plenty of content in the coming months. Maybe even too much.
Daredevil Season 3 may debut October 19th on Netflix.
