Bandai-Namco’s massive, 3D arena crossover fighter adds another character to its roster. This time grabbing a much more current hero, Asta, main character of the series Black Clover, has been revealed. From the looks of the screenshot brought to us courtesy of YonkouProductions, Asta will have both his anti-magic Demon Slayer sword and his magic-draining demon dweller sword. It also seems like he’ll have the “Black Asta” form where he covers himself in anti-magic energies serving as his power-up ability.
Set in a universe featuring the “real world”, Jump Force sees heroes from multiple Shonen Jump series working together to stop Kane, an original character created by Akira Toriyama. With Asta, Jump Force’s total roster goes up to 29 characters, but considering the show’s recency and popularity, it’s doubtful this is the only representative from the Black Clover universe. With exactly two months to go until the series launches, whatever remaining reveals will likely come fast and frequent.
Jump Force launches February 15th, 2019 for PS4, XBox One, and PC.
