A New Player Emerges In Street Fighter: Menat This March From Udon

UDON Entertainment has announced a series of one-shot Street Fighter comics to be released throughout 2019. The fun kicks off in March with Street Fighter: Menat #1, featuring a new character making her debut in Street Fighter V. She’s one of the most popular new challengers and a top tier characters among Street Fighter enthusiasts.
Written by Ken Siu-Chong and illustrated by Hanzo Steinbach, the one-shot focuses on Menat, the enigmatic Egyptian fortune teller and her quest to avenge her master’s death. She’s not searching for a bottom run assassin. Instead, she’s looking for the Dark Lord of Shadaloo himself: M. Bison.
There are five one-shots planned this year including the previously announced Free Comic Book Day title, Street Fighter: Sakura vs. Karin #1. The other titles are planned for release in April, June, and July.
Street Fighter: Menat #1 will feature two standard covers, illustrated by Panzer and Hanzo Steinbach, a blank sketch cover, and a retailer incentive cover by Steinbach feature’s Menat’s feline “holiday” costume. FocusAttack.com will has an exclusive cover from Rob “Robaato” Porter featuring Menat’s mummy wraps “battle costume.”
Street Fighter: Menat #1 is set for release on March 27th, 2019. The final order cutoff date for comic shops is Thursday, January 24th, 2019.
