The Umbrella Academy Have 8 Days To Save The World In New Trailer

 
While the main characters of Netflix’s upcoming Umbrella Academy adaptation have plenty of their own issues to deal with, this new trailer reveals one key external threat they must all face: the end of the world. As seen here, The Boy (Aiden Gallagher) leaps 8 days into the future to discover the world an empty carcass. Can it be tied to the death of the group’s adoptive father? Well, probably, this is a pulpy comic book story after all.

But hey, at least the show looks great. While it is impossible to recreate Gabriel Ba’s evocative artwork, the show seems to have a good sense of itself. The series stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda, Cameron Britton, and Mary J. Blige as the superpowered beings dedicated to ending the threat and the antagonists assigned to stop them.
The Umbrella Academy debuts on Netflix on February 15th, 2019.
