Valiant Heads To ComicsPro 2019 For A Wake (And Some Cool Swag)

by Tony Thornley

ComicsPRO 2019 is coming up February 21-23 in Charlotte, NC. Valiant Entertainment is headed to the retailers only event to hold a wake for the world’s most powerful being (and bringing some awesome freebies with them).

Valiant will be holding an hour-long reception on Friday February 22nd at 7:30PM in honor of the life of Toyo Harada, the long time Valiant Universe antagonist featured in the upcoming The Life and Death of Toyo Harada series. The series comes from Joshua Dysart and CAFU and is available March 13th, but attendees can commemorate the life of Harada, as well as sign the guest book at this event. Funeral attire is encouraged, but not required.

However, attendees will receive an exclusive commemorative memorial card, and a sharp tie featuring the Valiant logo. In addition to that, all weekend Valiant will be giving out an exclusive Valiant “Welcome Bag” and other merchandise throughout the event.

These items include pins, stress balls, shot glasses and other great items. It’s all to celebrate the release of upcoming Valiant titles, such as The Forgotten Queen by Tini Howard & Amilcar Pinna (out February 27th), Punk Mambo by Cullen Bunn & Adam Gorham (out March 24th), and Fallen World by Dan Abnett & Adam Pollina (out May 1st).

These items are exclusive to ComicsPRO, and ComicsPRO is a retailers only event. However, check with your local comic book store to see if they’re a member of ComicsPRO and will be attending. In the meantime, check out some of the great items available below!
