Katy Keene Pilot Adds Camille Hyde And Lucien Laviscount As The Cabots

Now we know where Alexandra Cabot has been all this time.
Deadline reports actors Camille Hyde and Lucien Laviscount have joined the cast of The CW’s Katy Keene pilot. The musical dramedy charts the lives of the title character, Riverdale‘s Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray), and two other young adults as they try to make it in New York City.
Hyde and Laviscount join the pilot as siblings Alexandra and Alexander Cabot. The former is described as a “powerful, savvy and chic New York socialite” with a high position in her father’s company while the latter would “rather take the subway and listen to vinyl.” He secretly DJs at clubs despite being the CEO of his father’s company. He also has ambitions to revive its dormant record label, which is of particular interest to Josie.
Back in the comics, the Cabots were members of the Josie supporting cast. Prior to the formation of the Pussycats, both were light foils for Josie and her then-boyfriend Albert. After the Pussycats formed, Alexander appointed himself their manager while Alexandra continued to act out on her jealousy toward Josie. In the Josie and the Pussycats film, the Cabots were played by Missi Pyle and Paulo Costanzo.
As Katy Keene is still at a pilot stage, it is unclear if The CW will order it to series. It is expected to go into production soon.
