Agent Liberty Goes On The Hunt When Supergirl Returns

Supergirl enters its Spring hiatus with Kara (Melissa Benoist) as Public Enemy #1. But when the series returns, she will still have the trust and support of Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Lena (Katie McGrath). Which should be just enough strength to reveal the truth, even if people want to believe she attacked the White House. Meanwhile, as this preview for the next episode reveals, Ben Lockwood retakes the Agent Liberty mantle to hunt her down.
I suppose this is the reason Lockwood has survived all this time. He needs to be Lex’s (Jon Cryer) general. That’s just about what I need to accept Lockwood’s continued presence in the face of a superior villain. At the same time, the President’s use of martial law suggests he has other plans in mind besides capturing Supergirl and rounding up aliens. Is he also on Lex’s payroll?
