The first trailer for the film based on Level-5’s video game “Ni No Kuni”, has premiered courtesy of Warner Bros. The film is being produced and written by Level 5’s CEO Akihiro Hino, while Yoshiyuki Momose will serve as the movie’s director. Momose was previously known for his work with Studio Ghibli, and worked as animation director on the DS title, “Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn”. The film will be produced by OLM, Inc. (formerly referred to as Oriental Light and Magic), an animation studio that’s done everything from Pokemon to the new Zoids revival, Zoids Wild.
“Ni no Kuni” will premiere in Japanese theaters in Summer 2019.
