A New Rogues Gallery Assembles In A Preview Of Next Week’s Flash

The word must be getting out about Cicada’s apparent demise. Or, at least, a handful of metas feel confident enough to return to Central City and form a new Rogues Gallery. But if this preview for next week’s episode of The Flash is any indication, their confidence may be the result of their latest member: Nora West-Allen (Jessica Parker Kennedy). And now that her rage has tied her to the negative speed force used by Thawne (Tom Cavanagh), Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) may not be able to bring her back into the light. If that’s the case, will The Flash be able to fight a group of rogues including his own daughter?
Meanwhile, it seems Thawne got what he wanted. While Iris seems to think he actually cares about Nora, weaponizing her against Barry definitely smacks of his style. For as much as speed is his power, getting into Barry’s head and jerking him around is his real skill. And turning Nora against him would be the last, best victory he could hope to achieve before his execution. Unless, of course, he also plans for Nora to break him out of Iron Heights and bring him back to 2019. That would also be consistent with his play book.
Maybe Thawne will even be in a position to join the Rogues himself.
