Devil’s Due Comics Doubles Down On Politics With Talk Bernie To Me

After the buzzworthy announcement of a superhero comic about Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Devil’s Due Comics is doubling down with a new special called Talk Bernie to Me. This new one-shot celebrates two-time Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and includes a bonus AOC story. In addition to a bunch of short-form Bernie comics, the special has some Trump and GOP skewering, satirical games and puzzles.
Devil’s Due is no stranger to political comics as the publisher also released Barack the Barbarian ten years ago. All three titles started with Devil’s Due Publisher Josh Blaylock. This time around he’s joined by Tim Seeley, Hoyt Silva, Marguerite Dabaie, K Lynn Smith, CW Cooke, Aly Faye, Christa Cassano, Paul Buhle, Kit Caoagas, Gary Dumm, Laura Dumm, Nick Accardi, Sam Wells, Liz McArthur, Jason Goungor, Sherard Jackson, Peter Rostovsky, and Joe Herrera. One person that’s not involved is Senator Sanders himself.

Talk Bernie to Me is due out on July 3rd and can be pre-ordered at BernieComic.com. A portion of all sales will be donated to the ACLU and RaicesTexas.org, which provides free and low-cost legal services to under-served immigrant children, families, and refugees.
