This Monday 20th May sees Hitman’s John McCrea launch his first solo exhibition here in Birmingham, Britain’s second – but greatest – city, courtesy of Havill & Travis.
Situated at Primitivo Bar & Eatery, who have previously presented an exhibition of Hunt Emerson’s artwork last year, there’s a private viewing on the Monday opening night, with the exhibition open to everyone from Tuesday 21st May.
Prints and original work, ranging from £90 to £4,000, will be on show and available to purchase with the gallery open from 11am till 5pm Monday to Friday. If you’re in town, do check it out. I certainly will. especially as John will be putting on comic art workshops during the expo’s 6 week run
Pieces include:
- Three new stunning Silkscreen editions of Spider-man.
- Giclee editions of Poison Ivy, the Joker and Black Panther.
- Previously unseen original art from 2000AD with Judge Dredd in the world of The Magic Roundabout.
- Original artwork from Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, The Mummy, Warhammer 40K and many more.
