Take A Trip Down Yancy Street In New Fantastic Four Special
by James Ferguson
After the success of Web of Venom, a series of quarterly specials that expanded upon the story in the main Venom series, Marvel Comics is looking to do the same with Fantastic Four. The first, Fantastic Four: 4 Yancy Street will kick off in August, exploring the new home of The Thing, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and Mr. Fantastic.

You’d think that having super heroes for neighbors would make everyone happy, but that’s not the case. When Marvel’s First Family starts to investigate a nasty piece of vandalism, The Thing is forced to relive some painful memories of his Yancy Street tormentors. Plus, don’t miss the arrival of The Terrible Trio.
Fantastic Four: 4 Yancy Street #1 is written by Gerry Duggan and illustrated by Greg Smallwood, who also drew the cover for the issue.
Writer Gerry Duggan says:
Last fall, Greg Smallwood and I got to take a big swing at Dr. Strange in ‘The Best Defense’ and now we’re re-teaming to scratch our Fantastic Four itches. We’re exploring some of the ripples created by their move to Yancy Street, and some classic Jack & Stan villains are invited, too. It’s an oversized love letter to Marvel’s first family, just in time for Marvel’s eightieth birthday.
