The Terror Begins In Swamp Thing Full Trailer

Swamp Thing‘s DC Universe debut is only a handful of days away, but that didn’t stop DC Entertainment from unleashing one final trailer for the series. And if you thought it might be a campy romp like The Return of Swamp Thing or something like a CW superhero series, this trailer makes one thing clear: this is a horror show.
Crystal Reed stars as Dr. Abby Arcane, a CDC researcher sent to her hometown when a mysterious diseases begins infecting the citizens. It seems to originate in the swamps and Dr. Alec Holland (Andy Bean) wants to prove it. Unfortunately, his quest to find the truth will have devastating consequences for him and lead Abby into a realm of fantastic wonders and shocking terrors.
The series also features Will Patton as Swamp Thing adversary Avery Sunderland, Virginia Madsen as Avery’s wife Maria, Jeryl Prescot as DC Comics’ favorite fortune teller Madame Xanadu, Maria Sten as Liz Tremayne — a tabloid journalist from an early issue of Swamp Thing re-imagined as Abby’s best friend — Jennifer Beals as Sheriff Lucilia Cable, Henderson Wade as Matt Cable, a character who will be very familiar to Swamp Thing readers, and Derek Mears as Swamp Thing.
Swamp Thing debuts May 31st on DC Universe.
