Batman: Hush Release Date Moved Up A Week
by James Ferguson
Fans won’t have to wait as long for the next DC Animated film. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has moved up the physical release date for Batman: Hush one week earlier to August 6th, 2019. That’s when fans can pick up the 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack or Blu-ray Combo Pack and watch it on the DC Universe streaming service. The digital release date is remaining the same at July 20th, 2019.
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC, Batman: Hush is an adaptation of the now classic storyline from writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee. The mysterious new villain Hush enters the scene, using Gotham’s Rogues Gallery to destroy Batman’s crime-fighting career along side Bruce Wayne’s personal life.
Bonus features on Batman: Hush include the all-new DC Showcase animated short, Sgt. Rock; a featurette focused on Selina Kyle/Catwoman entitled Batman: Love in Time of War; an Audio Commentary with executive producer James Tucker, director Justin Copeland and screenwriter Ernie Altbacker; a sneak peek at the next DC Universe Movie, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines; and two episodes from The Batman/Superman Hour.
