Necessary Evil Spreads In Go Go Power Rangers #21 First Look

Necessary Evil, the next big Power Rangers event is about to begin. As with Shattered Grid, this storyline will be split between Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Go Go Power Rangers. Publisher Boom! Studios has revealed an early preview of Go Go Power Rangers #21 from writers Ryan Parrott & Sina Grace and artist Francesco Mortarino with promises that the new secret history behind the team will begin to be revealed. New characters, new alliances, and jaw-dropping answers to some of the franchises biggest questions are on the way.

Go Go Power Rangers #21 starts off with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers back on Earth after the events of Shattered Grid where they defeated Lord Drakkon, the evil alternate-reality version of Tommy Oliver. The thing is, they don’t remember what happened. This could have something to do with the strange events occurring around them.
Judging from this preview, it looks like history is being rewritten as this scene played out in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #25 although with a very different ending.

Go Go Power Rangers #21 features a main cover by Amelia Vidal, a Yearbook variant by Miguel Mercado, a ’90s Album cover variant by Gleb Melnikov paying tribute to No Doubt’s 1995 album Tragic Kingdom, and a Social Feed variant by Johanna the Mad. Look for these covers at your local comic shop on July 10^th, 2019.
