The Rebellion Nears Its End In A Preview Of Next Week’s Krypton

by Erik Amaya

Brainiac (Blake Ritson) has some use in this preview of next week’s Krypton. Seg (Cameron Cuffe) is trapped in the capitol with Dru-Zod (Colin Salmon), but the Computer Tyrant has calculated a way to depose him. Of course, Jayna-Zod (Ann Ogbomo) may have other plans to topple her grandson. And back on Wegthor, Lyta-Zod (Georgina Campbell) may crush the rebellion before either Seg or Jayna can enact their plan. Will it be the end of the rebellion?

Considering the way Krypton paces itself, we suspect a major shift will occur next week. At least, that’s what we hope. It’s clear the show really isn’t budgeted for a full-scale war, so ending the rebellion makes sense. Also, we could easily see the latter half of the season focusing on Seg taking the “throne” and Brainiac directing him to make choices which will lead to the capture of Kandor. It would restore the timeline even if it means the eventual end of Krypton.
Krypton airs Wednesdays on Syfy.
