Check Out New Promo Video For ‘Somali And The Forest Spirit’ Anime

A trailer for the upcoming series Somali and the Forest Spirit has been released. The series takes place in a strange world where spirits and supernatural creatures have taken over. Human beings have been all but eliminated in this world, but when a golem meets a young human girl he finds himself unable to leave her alone, choosing to take care of her and help her to survive in this dangerous world.
The director for this series is Kenji Yasuda, known for series like Macross Delta and Arata: The Legend. Series composition and character design is being done by Ikuko Itou, who’s worked on AKB0048 and Sailor Moon S.
The series seems to be another in the “peaceful apocalypse” setting that’s become somewhat popular over the last few years. Coming from Satelight, Somali and the Forest Spirit will air January 2020.
