by James Ferguson

Back in May, Archie Comics took the world by storm with a two word tweet. “I’m baby” was sent out after news broke that the child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was named Archie. At the time of this writing, it has 11,700 retweets and 51,100 likes. It made news all over the world. Now the publisher has spun that viral tweet into a new 5-page story included in Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #302, due out this week.

Name Fame” comes from a story by Victor Gorelick. It’s written by Angelo DeCesare, illustrated by Jeff Shultz, inked by Rich Koslowski, colored by Glenn Whitmore, and lettered by Jack Morelli. This collection also includes an additional new story called “Fake ‘N’ Bake” and a classic reprint story called “Pressure.”

Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #302 can be found at your local comic shop on September 4th, 2019 and on September 10th, 2019 at newstands. The 192 page collection will retail for $7.99.
