The Rhythm Section’s First Trailer Promises An Emotional Revenge Story

The Rhythm Section takes on an established genre with a new level of grounded emotion. The archetype of women using sex and violence to achieve her revenge has it’s roots in the grindhouse/exploitation sub-genre. However, few of those films appeared as believable or impactful as The Rhythm Section. Blake Lively has completely transformed herself for this role so that she’s barely recognizable.
