Jennika, The Newest Turtle Gets Her Own Series In February
by James Ferguson
IDW Publishing has announced a new spinoff to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, coming out of the current City at War arc. In the aftermath of this epic storyline that will take us to TMNT #100, the newest mutant on the team, Jennika will get her own mini-series in February 2020. Written and illustrated by Brahm Revel, this book picks up with Jennika still trying to get used to her new life as a mutant. She’s pulled into conflict with a never-before-seen villain and sets out on a journey that forces her to face her troubled past and conflicted present.

Writer / artist Brahm Revel says:
Jennika has always been a fascinating character, and her story is now moving in directions none of us could have ever anticipated. I’m very excited about the opportunity to revisit Jenn’s past and explore how she’s been handling the recent changes in her life, all while being tested by a world that’s changing just as rapidly as she is.
TMNT: Jennika #1 will feature a main cover by Revel and two retailer incentive variant editions by Jodie Nishijima and Freddie Williams II, respectively.

Editor Bobby Curnow added:
Brahm has a fantastic knack for revealing character through adversity. With the Jennika miniseries, he’s digging deep into what makes this fan-favorite character tick, all in a fast-moving and accessible story. I’m also excited for people to see the back-up stories from up-and-coming creators that will be featured in every issue.
