Katy Keene Comes To Riverdale In Archie #710 First Look

Move over, Betty and Veronica! There’s a new “It” girl in Riverdale and her name is Katy Keene. The character is making her long-awaited return to comics in January’s Archie #710, conveniently coinciding with the release of the new TV show on The CW. Archie Comics has shared an early preview of the first issue of “Archie and Katy Keene.” For those following at home, the most recent arc was called “Archie and Sabrina” so this guy is jumping from one girl to another.

There’s a new girl in Riverdale and she’s turning everyone’s heads—and NOT everyone is happy about that! Who is Katy Keene and why is she so Insta-famous and beloved in Riverdale? And, moreover, why is she quickly becoming Archie’s biggest competition?

Archie #710 is written by Mariko Tamaki and Kevin Panetta, illustrated by Laura Braga, colored by Matt Herms, and lettered by Jack Morelli. It features a main cover by Braga and variant covers by Francesco Francavilla, Emanuela Lupacchino, Paul Renaud, and Billy Tucci. It’s set for release on January 8th, 2020.
