Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War Season 2 Trailer

by Sage Ashford

One of the most popular anime series of Winter 2019 is returning, as it’s been confirmed that Kaguya-sama: Love is War will be receiving a season two in 2020. The series tells the story of Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya, two perfect students (and the president and vice-president of the student council, respectively) who look like a perfect couple.    The two aren’t together, but they are in love, and both happen to have the same problem–they believe whoever confesses first will look like a loser, and be considered the “weaker” half of the relationship.
A-1 Pictures will once again be handling the animation, and they’ve already announced voice actors for two major characters for the following season, with Miko Iino being voiced by Miyu Tomita (Riko from Made in Abyss) and Kobachi Osaragi being voiced by Rina Hidaka (Filo from Rising of the Shield Hero). Considering the popularity of the series, it’s no surprise it was renewed for another season — and there’s plenty of material left from the manga. The second season will begin airing in April of 2020.
