Planet Anime Kansas City Wants To Display Your Itasha Car

The organizers of Planet Anime Kansas City need some help with their itasha display at the upcoming con.
The convention’s planners want to liven the exhibit hall floor with a display of cars decorated with images of characters from anime, manga and video games. These vehicles are commonly known as “itasha,” which ironically translates into painful or cringeworthy.
Owners can apply for a spot in the Itasha Car Fest here. Those selected you will receive admission to the show and the chance to win other prizes.
Planet Anime Kansas City begins with a preview night October 20, 2023, and runs through October 22.
