Creator Owned Heroes Gets Collected In New Kickstarter

Back in 2012, Image Comics published an anthology series called Creator Owned Heroes started by Jimmy Palmiotti and Steve Niles. It featured work from Neil Gaiman, Darwyn Cooke, Paul Pope, Bernie Wrightson, Robert Kirkman, Justin Gray, The Hernandez Brothers, Amanda Conner, Bryan Lee O’Mally, Dave Johnson, Scott Morse, Mark Waid, Dan Panosian, and more. Despite this all star cast, the series only ran for eight issues. Now, PaperFilms has launched a Kickstarter to collect the whole series for the first time in a digital book.
Creator Owned Heroes is a mix of comics, interviews, cosplay, and how to material all in one. The 8 oversized books combine to form a massive 386 page collection that you can get for only $10 through the Kickstarter campaign. This is a pretty straightforward campaign with rewards including the digital book and some other digital copies of PaperFilms titles. At the time of this writing, it has already surpassed its funding goal and is working towards stretch goals. The campaign runs through February 5th, 2020.
