Revisit God Loves, Man Kills In New Extended Edition This April

by James Ferguson

God Loves, Man Kills, one of the most iconic X-Men stories of all time, is getting an upgrade. Marvel Comics has announced a new extended cut of the story from creators Chris Claremont and Brent Anderson featuring a brand-new present day tale.

Originally published in Marvel Graphic Novel #5, the story featured the X-Men teaming up with Magneto against an adversary that threatened mutantkind in the name of God. With Claremont recently celebrating 50 years of contributions to Marvel Comics, its rather fitting that we get a new look at one of his landmark tales.
X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills Extended Cut #1 (of 2) features a main cover by Brent Anderson and a variant by Salvador Larroca. Look for it at your local comic shop in April 2020.
