Fans of Star Trek: The Next Generation became excited when they heard Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) would be returning to television for a new series. It would take place eighteen years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis and would answer the questions of what happened to the former Starfleet captain between those times.
The show, entitled Star Trek: Picard, has already aired its first two episodes on the streaming service, CBS All Access. During the series premiere, special screenings were held at the Comic-Con Museum in San Diego. Viewers followed along the titular character’s next adventure as he was approached by a mysterious woman who may have personal ties to him and his former crew aboard the USS Enterprise.
Those fortunate enough to attend the screening were treated to other special extras. On display outside the theater were several costumes and props from the show. The costumes were from a good mix of new characters like Allison Pill’s Dr. Agnes Jurati and familiar faces like former Borg drones, Hugh and Seven of Nine.

Of course, there was some great SWAG given away compliments of CBS All Access. Attendees received a poster from the show and a gift card for the streaming service. Enough to watch the entire ten-episode first season run of Picard and then some.
