Folklords from BOOM! Studios wraps up later this month and we’ve got an early preview of the fifth and final issue of the mini-series. The comic follows a young man in a fantasy land with glimpses of real world elements. He sets out to learn the shocking truth about his home, turning everything he’s ever known upside down in the process.
Ansel and his motley crew converge on the Library of Banned Books, and finally come face to face with a Folklord—but are any of them ready for this encounter, and what it will mean for the future of their entire world?
Folklords #5 is written by Matt Kindt, illustrated by Matt Smith, colored by Chris O’Halloran, and lettered by Jim Campbell. It features a main cover by series artist Matt Smith and a variant cover by Jeff Smith, the creator of Bone. It’s set for release on March 25th, 2020.
