Dynamite Teams Up With Groupees For Bundle Supporting Coronavirus Relief
by James Ferguson
Dynamite has been pretty busy during quarantine, pushing out free digital comics on ComiXology and launching several crowd-funding campaigns for variant covers. Now it’s released a new Groupees Bundle with a portion of proceeds benefiting Direct Relief with coronavirus efforts. The bundle, dubbed “Dynamite’s Finest” is available in five tiers including a completely free option. As you go up to the highest tier of $15, you’ll get more and more comics. The $15 tier offers a ton of books for 91% off the standard price.
The comics featured in the bundle are pretty varied so there’s a good chance you’ll find something you’ll like. It features work from Mike Carey, Garth Ennis, Kevin Smith, Gail Simone, Tim Seeley, Mirka Andolfo, Vita Ayala, Peter David, Kurt Busiek, Greg Pak, Joseph Michael Linsner, and more. Titles include Vampirella, James Bond, Red Sonja, Elvira, Bettie Page, Green Hornet, and Turok, to name a few.
A portion of the proceeds of the bundle will go to Direct Relief, a non-profit organization with the mission of improving the conditions of those living affected by poverty or emergencies by coordinating medical resources. They’ve been very active during the coronavirus pandemic.
Thomas Tighe, president and CEO of Direct Relief says:
Direct Relief is so deeply grateful to Dynamite Entertainment for this extraordinary act of generosity to help keep health workers safe as they put themselves at risk to keep all of us safe. Support generated from the Groupees bundle translates into immediate, practical help, and is such a wonderful example of the community pulling together and doing whatever we can to protect those who are most vulnerable.
The bundle is only available for two weeks so make sure to get on it fast.
