Funko To Release Micro Collectible Tabletop Game, ‘Marvel Battleworld: Mystery of the Thanostones’

Marvel and Funko are both top in their industries; comics and pop culture consumer products respectively. The two have collaborated in the past and their latest team up involves a new micro collectible, tabletop gaming system.
In Marvel Battleworld: Mystery of the Thanostones, players embark on a new adventure in a game that incorporates micro collectible characters, cards and gaming. It allows young fans to go head to head with the infamous villain, Thanos, through gameplay that involves a Battle Ball.

Every Battle Ball contains two Marvel collectible characters, Hero Cards, Battle Cards and a pair of dice all for an affordable price point. There is a variety of Marvel micro heroes to assemble from icons such as Iron Man, Captain America and Groot to others including Valkyrie, Gamora and Throg.

To help promote the release of the game, new Marvel Battleworld short-form animated content will be aired on different platforms like Disney XD, Marvel HQ, YouTube and more. The shorts are created by Funko Animation Studios and will follow Thanos and his latest evil plot to entrap Marvel heroes in Battleworld.
The products are set to be first released nationwide this June at Target.
