Dynamite Reveals Comic-Con@Home Virtual Panel Line-Up
by James Ferguson
While you can’t physically attend San Diego Comic-Con this year, you will still be able to check out some panels. Dynamite has revealed its line-up including Vampirella, James Bond, and more. Check out the schedule below:
First up, on Thursday, July 23rd at 11 AM PST we’ve got James Bond 007 In Comic Books. Join current Bond writer Danny Lore, past Bond writer Greg Pak, and Reflections of Death contributor Mark Russell as they speak with editors Nate Cosby and Matt Idelson about interpretations of this iconic character. Steve Orlando will be joining the panel as a special guest, perhaps to discuss a new series.
The next day, Friday, July 24th at 4 PM PST sees the celebration of Vampirella’s 50th anniversary come to a close. Christopher Priest (Vampirella), Tom Sniegoski (Vengeance of Vampirella), cover artists Lucio Parrillo and Meghan Hetrick, and editor Matt Idelson get together (virtually) to talk about the lasting appeal of the Daughter of Drakulon and what may be coming for her next 50 years.
Finally, on Saturday, July 25th at 10 AM PST, it’s Dynamite’s Two Huge Crossovers. Little has been revealed about this just yet, but the publisher is planning two large storylines for later this year. Declan Shalvey is writing a cleverly titled comic called DIE!namite with art from Justin Mason. Dan Abnett’s next project at Dynamite will also be revealed. Artist Jonathan Lau is one of the talents attached. Editor Nate Cosby will be on hand as well. Almost every Dynamite character will appear through these two series. I have to wonder how that will work.
