PENG! is a graphic novel in the same vein as sports manga by artist Corey ‘Reyyy’ Lewis (Sun Bakery). The graphic novel is a collection of three Fring sports themed adventures following the journey of the Foot Knux team.
Reyyy is an artist who’s been on my radar for quite some time and he should be on your too. Reyyy’s has an ability to remix manga tropes and esthetics very much like Scott Pilgrim. Each project displays an exploration of genre and a lot of heart. Reyyy’s art has steadily improved over time and it will be exciting to he where he’ll wind up in the future.
