Though it is still unclear if Titans will remain on DC Universe or migrate to HBO Max for its third season, the characters are moving to a new town.
As confirmed by executive producer Greg Walker during the program’s DC FanDome presentation, the Titans are decamping from San Francisco and setting up shop in Gotham City. The new locale means new foes like the Scarecrow (to be cast) and a new personal problem for Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) in the form of Commissioner Barbara Gordon (also to be cast). “They’re trying to deal with the mistakes of their past, and its proving more difficult than they anticipated,” he said.
But some baggage from Season 2 remains. Conor Leslie‘s appearance on the panel suggests Donna Troy’s story will continue, but a more immediate and confirmed echo of least year will present itself as Jason Todd (Curran Walters) finally becomes the Red Hood. “I’m very excited, obviously,” Walters said. “I feel some pressure, but I’m ready to take this on.”
Damaris Lewis discussed Blackfire and the duality between her and Kory (Anna Diop). “It’ll be interesting to see,” she said. But their frayed relationship may lead to some sibling bonding as Walker suggested she will have a bunk at Wayne Manor.
Titans returns sometime in the future to some WarnerMedia streaming service.
