IDW Entertainment Announces Three New Hirings For Their Kids, Family & YA Division

by Olly MacNamee

IDW Entertainment have announced yet another wave of new hirings with the announcement that Jeff Brustrom, Daniel Kendrick and Erika Turner have all been brought in to expand on the company’s concentrated initiative within the Kids, Family and YA division.

Jeff Brustrom

“Brustrom joins IDWE as the newly appointed Vice President of Kids, Family and Animation where he will oversee the development and production of a growing slate of live-action and animated projects (drama and comedy) based on graphic novels, prose and other source material.”
Daniel Kendrick

“Kendrick, the new Director of Animation, will oversee development and production of animated series.”
Erika Turner

“Turner has been named Senior Editor of Original Content, IDWP, where she will focus on the development and acquisition of original IP, primarily in the categories of kids, middle grade and young adult.”
With Locke & Key being such hot property, it makes sense for any comic book publisher to see what they can do to expand on their characters, titles and those in charge of leading on it all.
As ever, another good news story coming out of an industry certain mean-spirited commentators where announcing as dying only a few months ago. We wish them all the best in their new roles.
